Sahara India Pariwar has acquired the iconic, Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The hotel is now owned by the Sahara group company, M/s Aamby Valley Ltd. This acquisition is a part of the major expansion plans of the Sahara group. In addition to the acquisition of Grosvenor House, London will be the gateway for Sahara to introduce some of its new business ventures, internationally.

Sitting in all its resplendent glory, on the most-fancied Park Lane in Mayfair, London, the Grosvenor House Hotel is studded with exquisitely appointed 420 rooms,72 meeting rooms, all sprawled over a luxurious spread of 4000 square meters. The eight banquet halls in Grosvenor House can accommodate 4,500 people at any given time. The Hotel offers London’s largest and Europe’s second largest banqueting space called the Great Room.

The private dining room of the Grosvenor House has a long history. Eminent personalities like Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower, Orson Welles, Jacqueline Kennedy, Henry Kissinger and Ella Fitzgerald and more recently, Wayne Rooney have been here. The British Royalty is the regular patrons of this iconic landmark. The last G-20 summit in London in 2009 saw Grosvenor House playing host to 14 heads of states.
