Sahara Hospital was presented as a ‘Show Case Hospital of Lucknow’ to the team of WHO nominated ‘Public Health Experts’ from Sri Lanka
Lucknow, April 2nd, 2009: The 554 bedded multi-disciplinary super-speciality Tertiary Care, Sahara Hospital, today played host to a team of 8 visiting doctors from Sri Lanka who have been nominated by the World Health Organisation as ‘Public Health Experts’. The visit was a part of a workshop, being organised at the S.G.P.G.I., Lucknow. Under the said workshop, the team visited Sahara Hospital which was chosen to be the ‘Show Case hospital of Lucknow’ by S.G.P.G.I.
The team of doctors comprised of Dr. K.M Daya Dharmapriya, Dr. N.A.M.N.P Menike Gunasinghe, Dr. Aravindam Kanthasamy, Dr. Velluppillai Jeyarajah, Dr. G.U.A.K. Kulatunga, Dr. M.A.J.P Alagiyawanna, Dr. P.M.T.U Amarasinghe and Dr. R.D.F Chandrika Kanthi. The team started their tour of Sahara Hospital with ‘Master Health Check-Up’. The ‘Master Health Check-Up’ offers complete range of public health care services which includes Haemogram (Hb, TLC, and DLC & Platet Count) and Blood Group examination. Routine and Microscopic Urine examination, Radiology facilities like X-Ray Chest PA View, Diabetic Panel, Cardiac Risk Profile including Lipid profile (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, VLDL, Triglycerides), ECG, Diet Counseling and Physical Examination.
After witnessing the world class facilities offered at ‘Master Health Check-Up’, the team of doctors got an opportunity to witness the services of international standard being offered at Neurosurgery, ICU, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Radiology, Pathology Lab, Dialysis Unit, Ultra Clean Operation Theatres, Mother & Child Care Unit and Cardiac Cath Lab.
